Name(s) - The Luidaeg, aka Antigone of Albany, also sometimes 'Cousin Annie' or 'the sea witch' or even 'the Lady of the Lake'
Age - She's at least 1500 years old, and possibly older. To put it in scale, this universe's Merlin was her great-grandson, and inherited his magic from her.

Physical Description - The Luidaeg is a shapeshifter. She's got two favored forms for interacting with people to not freak them out. One is a human woman/girl around 19-20, with curly dark hair (usually tied back) and skin light enough to see freckles and acne scars. She adopts eyes that shift from blue to driftglass green and slightly pointed ears, making her look comfortably of fae desent but not enough to be of consequence. Her clothing is normally things like flannel and denim and sweats and sundresses (usually in the colors of the sea), but she's capable of dressing up if she needs to.

What appears to be closer to her natural form has black, weedy hair that can cut like razors, mother-of-pearl skin with hints of scales and eyes as dark as the ocean, but still changeable to a lighter blue or green. Basically think 'the type of mythological being who will drown ships for the lulz' and you get in the right zip code.

Other - The Luidaeg is the Firstborn daughter of Oberon and Maeve; if you can sense magic or power, either you are not strong enough to get past her own disguise, or she is exactly as powerful as 'first of the Firstborn' indicates.

As I mentioned, she's a shapeshifter and tends to slip back into what appears to be her normal form when pissed off -- if her eyes start to resemble the ocean, be scared. If her skin fades to mother-of-pearl, be very scared. Her magic smells of the sea or marsh and tends to be much more complex than her descendents. Iron hurts her, but isn't enough on its own to kill her -- she'll still get pretty damn pissed if you even try to touch her with it.

The Luidaeg can probably move like the most graceful thing that graced the world, but she mimics humanity, including the way we don't move like that.

[Maybe you're still at the place you died. Or maybe you're facing a canon-appropriate afterlife. Wherever you are, you notice the light change, shift to the sort of cool grey of a cloudy day. The air chills, with the smell of frost and wet earth in the air, and a bit of the ocean.]

[A woman is walking towards you. She looks... ordinary for what you'd expect from your place and time, perhaps even a bit lower class. Her dark hair is pulled back to show pointed ears, however, and generally humans don't have eyes the brilliant, clear green of glass worn by the waves.]

[(If you're not from a place where humans live at all, consider the description altered to fit.)]

Sphere - Darkness

Age - Her true age is unknown beyond 'old as shit' (thousands of years, considering her father's been AWOL for at least 500). She's a shapeshifter, but normally looks somewhere between late teens and early twenties.

Physical Description - The Luidaeg is a shapeshifter. She's got two favored forms for interacting with people to not freak them out. One is a human woman/girl around 17-20, with curly dark hair (usually tied back) and skin light enough to see freckles and acne scars. She adopts driftglass green eyes that have slightly too big irises to be human and slightly pointed ears, making her look comfortably of fae desent but not enough to be of consequence. Her clothing is normally things like flannel and denim and sweats, but she's capable of dressing up if she wants to be inconspicuous.

What appears to be her natural form has black, weedy hair that can cut like razors, mother-of-pearl skin with hints of scales and eyes as dark as the ocean. Basically think 'the type of mythological being who will drown ships for the lulz' and you get in the right zip code.

Other - As I mentioned, she's a shapeshifter and tends to slip back into what appears to be her normal form when pissed off -- if her eyes start to resemble the ocean, be scared. If her skin fades to mother-of-pearl, be very scared. Her magic smells of loam and frost and generally autumn. Iron hurts her, but isn't enough on its own to kill her -- she'll still get pretty damn pissed if you even try to touch her with it.

Permissions - Ping me if you want to try anything with serious physical or mental harm. Possibly because you might be turned corporeal just so the Luidaeg can eat you.

Also, the Luidaeg reserves the right to harm you for bothering her, though she's... less likely to do this to her proteges (and if she does, it's usually for a good reason like 'you asked me for something and I needed your blood to do it... and warning you would make you flinch, so suck it up').
